Theresa Logan Watson of Drumchapel was taken away from us on Sunday 18th Spetember 2005 at the age of 63 as she lost her battle to cancer! She was loved very much by all her family and friends, especially her loving husband, Alexander, children; Alexander, Peter, James, Heather, David and Lesley and also all of her grandchildren & great-granchildren!

Theresa was an excellent Wife, Mother and Grandmother. We all miss her so much and think about her everyday!

Why did you have to go so soon?

The Rose Beyond the Wall
~ A. L. Frink ~

Near a shady wall a rose once grew,
Budded and blossomed in God's free light,
Watered and fed by the morning dew,
Shedding it's sweetness day and night.

As it grew and blossomed fair and tall,
Slowly rising to loftier height,
It came to a crevice in the wall
Through which there shone a beam of light.

Onward it crept with added strength
With never a thought of fear or pride,
It followed the light through the crevice's length
And unfolded itself on the other side.

The light, the dew, the broadening view
Were found the same as they were before,
And it lost itself in beauties new,
Breathing it's fragrance more and more.

Shall claim of death cause us to grieve
And make our courage faint and fall?
Nay! Let us faith and hope receive--
The rose still grows beyond the wall,

Scattering fragrance far and wide
Just as it did in days of yore,
Just as it did on the other side,
Just as it will forevermore.

God's Garden Must Be Beautiful xx

God looked around his garden,
and found an empty space.
He looked down upon the earth,
and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you,
and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
for he only takes the best.
He knew that you were weary,
and he knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never,
be well on earth again.
He saw the roads were getting rough,
and the hills were hard to climb,
So he closed your weary eyelids,
and whispered peace be thine..

One heart of gold stopped beating
Two shiny eyes at rest
God broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the best
God knows you had to leave us
But you did not go alone
For part of us went with you
The day he took you home
To some you are forgotten
To others just the past
But to those that loved and lost you
Your memory will always last!
